With the exhibition "PAsSAGE", Joan Chabaud invites us to cross an inner territory where nature, memory and perception converse in silence.
Opening on 4/04 at 11am.

Born in Fayence, the artist grew up in the heart of the Var countryside, between olive groves, forests and Mediterranean light. This proximity to the natural world has always nourished his pictorial approach, as did his early taste for modern art, which he discovered at the Maeght Foundation and the Matisse Museum.
From photography to painting, drawing to video, Joan Chabaud constructs immersive spaces where breath, light and movement become matter. His painting, linked to his vision as a cyclist and photographer, is born of moments captured in the bend of a path, a stop, a suspended breath.
"PAsSAGE" is a quest for sensitive accuracy: to find in painting a form of silence, a fragile balance where the image tells its own story. The artist explores the continuity of the visible and the emotional, in search of a free, open pictorial experience, deeply rooted in the light of the South.
