* A cross-border course (Franco-Italian) 3.6 km of river (2.1 km in Italy and 1.5 km in France)
* The Maigre and the Forte, areas on the Roya where you'll find only wild trout (no stocking, Vibert boxes or overcrowded trout).
This route can be divided into 2 parts:
the downstream sector from the lake dam to the Piéne Basse EDF plant (reserved flow 1200 l/s)
the downstream sector from the Piéne Basse factory to the Italian border at Fanghetto (reserved flow 1200 l./s)... much wilder...
