Welcome to the Roya .... 100% wild trout paradise.

* A cross-border course (Franco-Italian) 3.6 km of river (2.1 km in Italy and 1.5 km in France) * The Maigre and the Forte, areas on the Roya where you'll find only wild trout (no stocking, Vibert boxes or overcrowded trout). This route can be divided into 2 parts: the downstream sector from the lake dam to the Piéne Basse EDF plant (reserved flow 1200 l/s) the downstream sector from the Piéne Basse factory to the Italian border at Fanghetto (reserved flow 1200 l./s)... much wilder and more sporting. * A single lake where over-densified trout are released. * 5 valleys (Audin, Carleva, Lavina, Maglia and Caine) Opens on the 2nd Saturday in March - Closes on the 3rd Sunday in September Please note that the course is closed on Tuesdays and Fridays.
