It was named Place David Niven in memory of the English actor who owned the villa La Fleur du Cap (formerly Lo Scoglietto) for over twenty years.
An emblematic residence on the Promenade Maurice Rouvier, Villa La Fleur du Cap was the setting for several scenes of the film “The Heir to the Pink Panther” in 1983.
Actor Charlie Chaplin stayed here with his family during the summer of 1956.
From this square, you can reach the famous Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild by walking up the allée des Tilleuls and avenue Honoré Sauvan.
This gem of the Belle Epoque boasts 9 themed gardens and a remarkable collection of works of art.
