Discovery hike through the various natural environments of the Adret de Pra Gazé Natura 2000 site. It is the only known site in the Alpes-Maritimes to be home to the Austrian dragonfly, also known as the "Dragon's Head."
A balcony hike with a panoramic view.
Departing from the mill car park at the end of the village (1,500 m – b.50), cross the Sestrière stream (footbridge) and climb a beautiful paved path that winds through the meadows to soon emerge on the Sestrière road (b.51). Follow it to the right for about 300 m before finding the path that avoids the hairpin bends (b.52, 53, 54). Cross the road to quickly reach the Pra Gazé plateau (1,750 m – b.63), at the foot of the ridge of the same name.
Begin the descent by heading towards the village along a direct path with multiple hairpin bends that crosses the road twice (b.51, 50).
