Answering the call of the Rampèu, harlequins, fishermen and sailors, with the participation of folklore groups from the Gulf: Lei Magnòti de SAINTE-MAXIME, L'Escandihado de GRIMAUD, Lei Fieloua de MARTIGUES, Les Fifres et Tambours de Saint-Tropez, La Troupelenco, will meet this Saturday, February 7 from 4.30pm on the Place de la Garonne to celebrate the Provencal carnival, to the sound of fifes and drums and galoubets to bring "CARAMANTRAN" to trial and be burned in public at 6.30pm on the Place du XVème Corps.
Organized by lou Rampèu de SANT- TROUPÈS, this festive event will revive Provencal traditions with the participation of folklore groups from the Gulf: Lei Magnòti from SAINTE-MAXIME, L'Escandihado from GRIMAUD, Lei Fieloua from MARTIGUES, Les Fifres et Tambours de Saint-Tropez, La Troupelenco.
Harlequins, fishermen and sailors will parade through the streets in a joyous, colorful atmosphere.
