Mountain refuge in the heart of the Mercantour National Park, located in the Fontanalba valley, one of the two valleys containing the famous rock engravings of Mont Bego, along with those of Les Merveilles.

In the heart of the mélézin, at an altitude of 2018 meters, the 1939 building belonging to the Ski Club de Nice is revealed. Recently renovated and re-opened in 2019, the refuge, and its janitor Pauline, offers the ideal setting for hikes of all levels, inviting you to explore the valley at your own pace. The bivouac area is just a few steps away, allowing you to extend your experience by taking advantage of the refuge's facilities and services.
