Although the Lascaris castle has only vestiges today, the village still retains several visible traces of its ancient fortifications.
It is still possible to see the ancient gateways to the medieval town: the "Porte d'Italie" (rue de France) and the "Porte de France" (rue Cotta).
The outer walls, which served both a defensive function and as terraces, can still be seen from Place du Traou and Place du Ponte.
In Rue Béatrice-Lascaris, at the foot of the cemetery, a section of the surrounding wall remains.
Finally, the wall of the keep overlooking the village is the most emblematic vestige of the former castle.
