Ecolodges are accommodation totally in line with the philosophy of ecotourism, allowing you to enjoy a stay in perfect harmony with the wilderness.
Made of canvas and wood, these ecolodges can accommodate up to 4 people.
Discover the Réserve des Monts d’Azur, a land of freedom, where we have reconstituted the fauna of Europe, including the large herbivores.
The Réserve des Monts d’Azur in the town of Thorenc in the Alpes-Maritimes, 30 minutes from Grasse, is a patchwork of open spaces (rocks, boulders, grassy meadows) and remarkable wooded areas of young oak, Hop Hornbeam, beech, and rowan trees.

This former hunting reserve has an unusual wealth of wildlife made up of more than 500 species, many of which are protected by international agreements.

The history of the Domaine du Haut-Thorenc dates back centuries. The house first began to be built in 1550, as evidenced by the remains of the fortified interior parts and the vaulted cellars.
Heavily renovated in the 17th and 18th centuries, the mansion retains the character of Provencal country houses, with rounded towers to the north.

Accommodation & Meals
Fifteen rooms in three buildings; the manor: attic rooms, the school: Provencal-style bedrooms, and the bioclimatic villa: a completely autonomous villa running on clean energy (solar and geothermal).

Our ecolodges: Stay right in the midst of the wildlife

Our five lodges made of wood, stone, and canvas, scattered across the Reserve, provide excellent wildlife viewing. You are in the very midst of the wildlife, in magical places, ready to capture images of nightfall the arrival of dawn on the Reserve.

Each lodge sleeps 2 people in a bush-camp ambiance (camp fire, dry toilet, etc.). A warm sleeping bag and headlamp are essential!
The ecolodge is offered on a half-board plan. The evening barbecue meal takes place in the forest with a guide around a campfire.
Providing this service ensures the experience of a complete, natural getaway while adding a convivial touch.
