Your return crossing to Porquerolles with the Bateliers de la Côte d'Azur at a reduced rate with the Amusez-vous offer, exclusively at the Cuers, Collobrières and Pierrefeu du Var tourist offices.
Let yourself be seduced by the gentle way of life on the island of Porquerolles!
The trip begins at the port of La Londe-les-Maures, from where you will board the Côte d'Azur boats. The 30-minute guided crossing will take you to the port of Porquerolles.
On arrival, take time to stroll through the village and its bougainvillea-lined streets. The shady Place de l'Eglise, with its lively bars and restaurants, will immerse you in a typically Provençal atmosphere, punctuated by the clatter of petanque balls.
Continue your stroll by climbing up to Fort Sainte-Agathe, which has overlooked the village since the XVIᵉ century. Accessible freely or accompanied, it offers beautiful views over the island. Continue on to the Moulin du Bonheur, an ancient Provençal windmill also open to visitors
For a cultural interlude, head to the eastern side of the island and discover the Fondation Carmignac contemporary art centre. This unique barefoot venue features works by contemporary artists, set in the heart of a Mediterranean garden. There is also a restaurant on site.
Walking enthusiasts can enjoy walks all year round, on both the north and south sides, in particular towards the lighthouse, which offers superb views of the Mediterranean Sea. At the end of the day, head for the port of Porquerolles to enjoy one last boat trip to the mainland. Head for the port of La Londe les Maures!
