The Laponche family are fourth-generation apiarists who have successfully retained, and still adopt, traditional techniques. Le Rucher is located at the foot of the Gorges du Blavet, an area with an abundance of flora, producing rich, flavourful honey.

Beekeeping is a family affair at Domaine de la Bouverie. Since 1925, 4 generations of the Laponche family have succeeded one another from father to son.
