This chapel was built during the 17th century on the ruins of Montauroux's fortification. The inside is listed historical monument for its walls and its barrel vault entirely covered with painted wooden panels.
Its story is very long and well-known because the chapel was the property of Christian Dior, famous fashion designer who owned a beautiful country house in Montauroux, the Colle noire castle.
