A Belgian artist who burst onto the scene at just 22, Selah Sue has established herself as a major force on the international stage thanks to her eponymous debut album, released in 2011 — a double platinum album in France, number one in Belgium, and with over a million copies sold worldwide.
It all began in a student dorm room, where she posted her songs online without a record deal, armed only with her voice and her sincerity. Her career then took off, largely thanks to Prince, who spotted her, invited her to open for him, and told her that her voice had ‘a soul older than her years’.
Blending soul, reggae and pop with raw intensity, she has gone on to embark on European and American tours and forge memorable collaborations, cementing her artistic maturity with her third album, *Persona* (2022), an introspective and personal journey.
In concert, she offers far more than just a show: a total emotional experience, driven by a magnetic presence and extraordinary energy. She is heading out on tour again in 2026, including a date at Les Grimaldines in Grimaud.
The Grimaldines Festival is a blend of street performances and concerts at the château.
