As part of the exhibition entitled "Simone Veil, un destin. 1927-2017, the town of La Londe is offering a free cinema screening of the film "Simone, le voyage du siècle" on 25 November at 7pm at the Cinéma de la Baie des Isles.
From 17 to 28 November, the town of La Londe will be hosting an exhibition produced by the Shoah Memorial entitled "Simone Veil, un destin. 1927-2017". To accompany this exceptional exhibition, the Town of La Londe is offering a free cinema screening of the film "Simone, le voyage du siècle" on Tuesday 25 November.
Free admission with compulsory registration at the Service Culturel, from Tuesday 4 November, at the Nouvelle Maison des Associations, Place Charles-Camoin - Subject to availability.

Released in 2022, this film directed by Olivier Dahan stars Elsa Zylbertsein in the role of Simone Veil. The film looks back at the extraordinary destiny of this exceptional woman, from her childhood to her political battles and personal tragedies. An epic and intimate portrait of a woman with an extraordinary career, who was deported, a minister and the first president of the European Parliament in Strasbourg in 1979. A woman who shook up her era by defending a humanist message that is still as relevant today as it was then.
This film, which attracted almost 2.5 million spectators when it was released in cinemas, won two César awards for its sets and costumes.
