A solitary young poet enjoys strolling the city streets in the evening, gazing at the surrounding houses and observing passersby. One evening, he saves a young girl from a suicide attempt. Bonded by this chance encounter, they get to know each other and share their stories with deep sincerity. She has been waiting for her lover for a year, who has promised to marry her. Despite this, the young poet falls in love with her, but events take an unexpected turn.
