This day trip includes a motorized approach to the archaeological sites of Les Merveilles and Fontanalba, and a hike to visit the rock engravings.

The incisions are spread across hundreds of slabs of orange schist, scattered in an exceptional mineral setting, and tell the story of over 4,000 years of human history. Generations of prehistoric men and shepherds have traced in stone the memory of their passage, an expression of their faith and ancestral beliefs.
