Out of a love for music and dance, Thierry Malandain interweaves Antonio Vivaldi's iconic score with the little-known score of his contemporary Giovanni Antonio Guido, in a ballet of striking beauty and twilight elegance. A splendid invitation to celebrate "nature and the four seasons of the cycle of life."

Recognizable among all, the timeless and sober style of the Malandain Ballet Biarritz gives priority to the dancing body, its technicality, its power, its virtuosity, its sensuality. An alchemy that radiates Les Saisons in an alternation of complex ensembles - twenty-two dancers dressed in pure black costumes, baroque or shimmering -, rounds, graphic tableaux and free structures. Everything is harmonious in the decor of calcined petals with changing colors throughout the seasons imagined by Jorge Gallardo: the majestic movements as well as the flamboyant lighting effects. Attentive to the world of the arts, the choreographer is constantly renewing himself and enriching his repertoire as evidenced by his ballet which dares the collision between two compositions of which we do not know, of one or the other, which was written first! Thierry Malandain chooses to play on their dissonances, combining sagacity, imagination, refinement and effrontery, and to resound an ode to nature, magnified, but today threatened..
To extend the evening, you are invited to enjoy a drink to the unique sound of a real piano bar, installed by the Carré team in the Grand Hall of the Theater.
