Rehearsing a play. Learning its lines. Performing its show on stage, in front of an audience. All the ingredients, and more, that make up this idea of theater. But what do we really know about this discipline? What are its origins? Its history? Its repertoires and genres? The L’Émergence Company will attempt to answer these questions in a historical retrospective, from prehistory to the present day, the evolution of theater over time, and its development in Europe.
