Come experience the great fall transhumance in Roubion: more than 1,000 sheep, activities for the whole family, and a festive day celebrating mountain traditions
On Sunday, October 4, 2026, Roubion will celebrate pastoral life with its grand Autumn Transhumance, one of the village’s must-see events of the year.
At 11:30 a.m., come witness the departure of more than 1,000 sheep as they pass through Roubion before heading toward the Buisses resort. It’s a spectacular and authentic experience that brings the pastoral traditions of our mountains to life.
Throughout the day, visitors of all ages can enjoy a festive and friendly atmosphere centered on pastoral life: entertainment, shows, workshops, children’s activities, demonstrations of traditional crafts, and a market featuring local producers.
