Sofia is a teenager who lost her mother and is having a hard time coping with her father Pietro's new partner. One evening, tensions between the two women, fueled by Sofia's constant hostility, escalate to the point of irreparable harm. When Sofia is arrested, a long journey begins. Pietro finds himself confronted with the need to put values such as understanding and acceptance into practice. But forgiveness is far from easy.
