An alliance based on a love of vines. In 2006, the Fréjus cooperative joined Les Celliers de Ramatuelle.
United by a passion for the land, the two wineries now work hand in hand, with the constant aim of producing wines that are typical of the south, bursting with sunshine".
"Les Celliers du Sud", with some 123 member-shareholders and 350 hectares of vines in the communes of Ramatuelle, Gassin and La Croix-Valmer, are cultivated using integrated farming methods, with the utmost respect for the soil and the grapes.
THE WINES
* Cuvée R - AOP Côtes de Provence.
A recent Cuvée that has met with great success, whether for White, Rosé or Red.
- White: Rolle and Ugni Blanc. Pale yellow color. Fruity nose reminiscent of white peach. Powerful, balanced, fresh palate, reminiscent of the aromas perceived on the nose.
- Rosé : Tibouren, Grenache, Cinsault. Slightly salmon-colored rosé. Fruity, mineral nose. Same aromatic personality on the palate, well-balanced. Silver medal at the 2013 Concours des Vins de la Foire d'Avignon.
- Red: Syrah, Cabernet and Carignan. These three grape varieties give this wine a ruby color, and a complex nose and palate, both fruity and floral (violet, blackcurrant, raspberry). Long on the palate, present but pleasant structure.
* Cuvée Spéciale - AOP Côtes de Provence. Rosé, Red.
- Rosé : Tibouren gives this slightly spicy wine its typical character. Cinsault adds lightness and finesse, while Grenache adds structure.
- Red: Crimson in color, this wine is already in full bloom. Aromas of macerated fruit and a convivial palate.
