Discover a 360° view of Ramatuelle, the islands and the coastline from the top of the Camarat lighthouse, as well as a small museum on lighthouses, local flora and fauna, nearby shipwrecks and much more!
From the outdoor terrace, a sublime 360-degree panorama unfolds over the green commune of Ramatuelle, Cap Taillat, the Golden Isles and the Var and Côte d'Azur coastline to the east, with the pre-Alps as a backdrop.
Inside, a museum area welcomes you, divided into three rooms that present the lighthouse's fauna, flora and ecological heritage; the history of lighthouses from antiquity to the present day; maritime routes and local shipwrecks; and a section on the Camarat lighthouse itself, from its construction to its current organization.
Children aged 6 and over may visit the lighthouse under their parents' full responsibility. Children under 6 may visit the museum, but for safety reasons are not allowed inside the lighthouse.
Please note: it's often windy on the lighthouse terrace, so be sure to hold on to your glasses, hats... and phones when taking photos!
Green tourism
Set in the heart of nature, the lighthouse site has few parking spaces. Visitors are therefore accompanied by shuttle bus from the tourist parking lot under the village, in groups of 8.
