For the first time, the museum presents the exceptional donation made by Chagall's granddaughters, Bella and Meret Meyer, to the National Museum of Modern Art, Centre Georges Pompidou. The donation is now on display at the Chagall Museum. It includes the forty-one sketches and models for the ceiling of the Opéra Garnier, the stage curtains and costumes for the ballet The Firebird, twelve ceramics and sculptures, and twenty-four collages.
