Zelie has a secret: her attic. She spends hours there rummaging through and hunting for old objects.
One evening, she discovers an unusual object: an old trunk. Inside, a spellbook. But as she begins to leaf through it, a magical whirlwind draws her into a parallel world. She meets famous characters from traditional tales and comes to their rescue by rewriting the tragic endings of their stories, with the help of the children.
