Ecotourism and environmental responsibility

Mastering its resources and promoting coherent and sustainable management among the region’s various stakeholders are central to the Pays de Grasse’s concerns.

The Pays de Grasse Conurbation Committee brings together 23 towns, i.e. a rich environment with an immense biodiversity in terms of flora and fauna, which must be protected.

In addition to implementing an ecological Transition Contract between the various partners, the Pays de Grasse advocates ecotourism and awareness-raising in professionals. The Palais des Congrès [conference centre] therefore offers assistance for creating environmentally responsible events. Grasse has also been committed to a voluntary sustainable development approach through its Agenda 2 since 2013, and which has been updated over time.

While concrete actions in favour of the energy transition have already been implemented, carbon neutrality, the use of bio-sourced materials and the sustainable management of green spaces are, amongst other things, some of the objectives in terms of developing a “sustainable” town while respecting the local identity.

The Palais des Congrès, a historic location on a human scale

The Palais des Congrès and its magnificent Belle Epoque architecture and its listed frontage is a human-sized setting for events of all types, located right in the heart of the historic centre of Grasse.

Ideally laid out to host 200 people, the Centre comprises a plenary room, an exhibition hall, meeting and reception rooms.

Customized configuration of some spaces allows for making your event unique.
