Cannes, a world-famous destination for your events

The leading town after Paris for professional trade fairs, Cannes is a global village on a human scale. An innovative city capable of providing real added value to your events. Take a close-up of this select destination.

The Palais des Festivals, a world-famous setting

Of course, there is the Cannes Film Festival.

Twelve days during which the entire world focuses a huge spotlight on the famous steps of La Croisette. However, the Palais des Festivals hosts the biggest international professional events all year round. And it’s been doing so for over seventy years!

Among these events are the MIPIM, which brings together real estate operators; Cannes Lions, a prestigious event in the advertising, communication and creative sector; the Cannes Yachting Festival, the leading European boat show with over 500 craft exhibited; and the MIPCOM, which attracts 12,00 professionals from the television and entertainment industry every year.

The historic location for professional meetings, the Palais des Festivals is also equipped with new, cutting-edge technologies with a brand-new studio, the Hi5 Studio. This tool offers a space measuring 120 m² and allows for hosting hybrid events with 350 seats.

A pioneering town in terms of sustainable development

Cannes adopted an environmental charter as of 2003. Cannes Town Hall deploys concrete actions for a better quality of life and to protect the environment, especially in terms of protecting the sea, guarding against major risks, supporting urban nature and local agriculture, developing renewable energies and promoting environmental civic mindedness.

Since 2009, the challenges of sustainable development have also been at the heart of the Palais des Festivals’ concerns, and it is now ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 18788 (Safety – Security) and ISO 20121 (Sustainable Events) certified.

In 2022, the Palais des Festivals also became the first conference centre with “société à mission” status [business pursuing a set social and environmental purpose with specific sustainability goals] and thus undertakes to “welcome the world sustainably” for a sustainable and responsible events activity.

The awaited reopening of exceptional luxury hotels

Cannes boasts an exceptional range of hotels with 110 establishments offering 8,000 rooms and over 140 meeting rooms.

Among the long-awaited new options for Spring 2023: the re-openings of the Carlton after two years of works, the Grand Hotel under the Mondrian brand, and the Radisson Blu, renamed Canopy by Hilton Cannes after a total renovation lasting seven months.

In addition, the Majestic Barrière, Intercontinental Carlton, Grand Hyatt Cannes Hotel Martinez and the famous Palm Beach hotels (the latter opening in 2024) are themselves investing almost 1 billion euro in modernizing their establishments and improving their service offers.

Incredible locations for unique seminars

Cannes offers a multitude of events locations spread across the town, to fit every events profile, no matter the season.

Among the new offers not to be missed in 2023: discover the fully renovated 384 m² Grand Lounge in the Carlton as of April.

Or even the spectacular 400 m² rooftop of the Canopy by Hilton as of July. An exceptional setting overlooking the Mediterranean with a unique panoramic view over the old port, the Lérins islands and the Esterel mountains on the other side.

Lastly, don’t miss the really unusual 20 x 6.25 m floating space offered by the Floating Penthouse, which can host 80 to 100 people for an event; 280 m² and 125 m² roof terrace.

Everything you need to create unforgettable events.

Cultural or sporting MICE activities

Benefiting from a privileged location beside the sea, the surrounding Mediterranean countryside and an exceptional heritage, Cannes offers multiple options in terms of activities.

Set off to explore the magnificent Lérins islands, opposite the Bay of Cannes: Sainte-Marguerite, with its royal fort and the prison of the famous and mysterious Man in the Iron Mask, and Saint-Honorat, with its Cistercian monastery and its wine grown by the monks…

Improve your team spirit at the controls of a sailboat… Take the time for a creative or gourmet break.

Allow the charm of a walk in the old town to carry you away.

Cannes is a network of experts, confirmed and recognized in their fields. Boasting rock solid know-how and experience, these professionals work to turn every project into a quality and truly tailor-made event.

Among these are: Made In Côte d’Azur, Team Nature, Ikebana, Raising Stones Events, Lafayette Travel and many more.
