A benchmark environmentally responsible destination

A land of innovation, Nice Côte d’Azur continues to improve its environmental policy by integrating the 2026, 2030 and 2050 objectives of the “Regional Climate Air Energy Plan” into its future projects.

In particular, this plan relates to the environment and environmental responsibility, by reducing emissions and improving air quality.

Within the framework of the GDS-Index programme, the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolitan Tourist Information Centre and its Convention Bureau assist the regions tourism stakeholders in the sustainable transition.

Event organisers can take advantage of the city’s expertise to plan sustainable and environmentally responsible events.

The city of Nice also encourages sustainable modes of transport for business event participants, with cycle routes, electric car charging points and free shuttle buses. Organisers can also choose from a selection of local service providers who have adopted eco-friendly practices.
