Fernand Léger chose to spend his last days in the beautiful city of Biot. At the foot of the village, his residence, Mas Saint-André, became his pictorial realm. A huge mosaic façade welcomes you as you arrive to admire the more than 400 works by the painter. The museum traces the evolution of his art from the beginnings of cubism to the abstract Léger period.

MUSÉE COCTEAU IN MENTON & MUSÉE BONNARD IN LE CANNET

Out of the ordinary architecture, perfectly in line with the Menton’s motto “My city is a garden”, that reflects all the poetry of his work. Nothing less was needed to showcase the life and work of an artist and academic like Jean Cocteau, who bedecked Menton and the whole coast in his dreams.
