One of Europe’s most popular events returns for its 34th edition! The Festival International d’Art Sacré d’Antibes Côte d’Azur France takes place from 6 to 21 September 2025.

This combination of heritage, sacred music and classical music invites you on an extraordinary journey!

A SHOWCASE FOR HERITAGE AND THE FINEST ACOUSTICS

A spellbinding musical journey through the heritage of the city of ramparts

The Festival International d’Art Sacré (International Festival of Sacred Art) showcases the city’s rich heritage by revealing the finest pages of the sacred and classical music repertoire in major orchestral concerts.

This 34th edition celebrates an exceptional anniversary: the 900th anniversary of the rebuilding of the cathedral of Notre-Dame de l’Immaculée Conception in Antibes in 1125. To commemorate this event, the neighbouring tower will be lit up in golden hues every evening from 6 to 21 September. Prestigious ensembles and soloists mesmerise audiences thanks to the exceptional acoustics of the sacred sites in Antibes Juan-les-Pins and Vallauris Golfe-Juan.

In Antibes, the cathedral of Notre-Dame de l’Immaculée Conception – in the spotlight this year -, the chapels of Saint-Bernardin, Saint-Jean and de la Garoupe, and the Kiosque on Place Nationale.

In Vallauris Golfe-Juan, visit the churches of Sainte-Anne, Saint-Martin de Vallauris and Saint-Pierre de Golfe-Juan!

Harmonies for a cathedral: nine centuries of musical and architectural history in heritage sites with carefully selected acoustics.

“Les Instants Musicaux du Patrimoine

Since the 30th anniversary of the Festival International d’Art Sacré d’Antibes, a new feature, composed by flutist Philippe DEPETRIS, has enchanted lovers of intimate musical art: “Les Instants Musicaux du Patrimoine”.

The concept? Combine the discovery of emblematic heritage sites in the town of Antibes, whose history is told by a guide-lecturer, with intimate musical moments for a privileged audience.

The 34th edition of the festival will be staged free of charge in the Chapelles Saint-Jean and the Chapelles de la Garoupe, two of Antibes Juan-les-Pins’ most outstanding heritage sites. These intimate concerts highlight the beauty and exceptional acoustics of these heritage buildings, preceded by a historical and architectural presentation by a tour guide.

Practical details: free admission on registration, with registration closing at 8pm the day before the concerts. Please note that places are limited to ensure the intimacy of these exceptional musical moments in these heritage settings.

A programme of masterpieces!

One day, one place, one programme

Flute, violin, trumpet, horn, harp, piano, harpsichord… the sounds of instruments, ensembles and voices will take you on a voyage of discovery of cultures from all over the world throughout the festival.

The festival kicks off on September 6 with the Chants sacrés et polyphonies des Alpes du Sud at the Kiosque on Place Nationale, followed on September 9 by the Romancero iberico at the Chapelle de la Garoupe.

The symphony will continue with Chants et Monodies de l’Époque Médiévale on September 10, followed by a tribute to Rossini, l’homme pressé on September 14.

Scores of the most sensitive masterpieces in the repertoire, such as Antonio Vivaldi’s Four Seasons and Concerti on 16 September, Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem on 18 September, and The Most Beautiful Ave Maria for Children’s Choir on 19 September, will resound in your hearts. The festival closes with Les chants des Basques on September 21, offering a musical journey through European cultures in Antibes’ exceptional heritage sites.
