A cross-country skiing area not to be missed

The Boréon ski area extends over 25 km of marked and groomed runs, designed to delight Nordic ski enthusiasts.

Whether you prefer the skating or alternative style, these runs take you through enchanting landscapes, between snow-covered forests and Alpine panoramas.

For novices, the 2025-2026 season brings beginners’ pistes and an educational stadium on the banks of Lac du Boréon, perfect for learning in a safe environment.

Cross-country skiing paradise

The Centre Nordique makes it a point of honour to showcase cross-country skiing, with top-quality facilities and courses run by qualified instructors.

Introductory mornings are offered during the school holidays, while events such as the “Défi du Boréon” and night-time biathlons punctuate the season.

In addition, the double route to the l’Alpage restaurant offers an experience combining sport and relaxation, accessible to skiers and pedestrians alike.

Snowshoeing and ice climbing: unique adventures

Le Boréon isn’t just about cross-country skiing, and offers other activities to diversify your enjoyment. Winter hikers can explore three marked and safe snowshoe trails, with routes to suit all levels. This season, new trails have been added to the range, allowing visitors to discover even more snow-covered landscapes, both around the slopes and in the high mountain areas for the more adventurous.

For thrill-seekers, the impressive artificial icefall is a real challenge. With its four sides culminating at a height of 18 metres, it’s ideal for an introduction or for perfecting your climbing techniques. Accessible to all, this supervised activity guarantees a unique experience in the heart of winter. At the foot of the slopes, it’s the perfect place for an extraordinary adventure, where sport meets exploration.
