Must-sees in Roubion: What you absolutely mustn’t miss

There are a few experiences in Roubion that are a must.

You can’t leave the resort without sampling the delights of the local cuisine in the picturesque chalets. Mountain specialities such as Savoyard fondue and raclette will warm you up after a day in the great outdoors.

GET YOUR SNOWSHOES ON FROM THE Roubion STATION!

Tour du Pin Pourri
Level of difficulty: Easy. Duration: 2 hours.
Distance: 4.5 km. Difference in altitude: 180 m.
Starting point: Col de la Couillole (1,678m)

A short introduction to snowshoeing that leads to the superb Pin Pourri viewpoint (1,826 metres). From this central hump on a gently undulating plateau, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view.

Mont Brussière
Difficulty level: Medium. Time: 4h30.
Distance: 4.5 km. Difference in altitude: 320 m.
Starting point: Col de la Couillole (1,678m)

This easy trail offers a 360-degree view. As you descend the eastern slope of the summit of Mont Mounier, you will discover the wild Vionène valley, home to the charming hamlet of Vignols, an ancestral example of transhumant pastoralism.

Tête de Giarons
Difficulty level: Difficult. Duration: 5 hours.
Distance: 14 km. Difference in altitude: 520 m.
Starting point: Col de la Couillole (1,678m)

This is a long hike for experienced walkers. It crosses the vast undulating plateaux on the left bank of the Cians, offering an experience of immensity where man seems insignificant in the face of grandiose nature.
