Turini Camp d'Argent, the closest ski resort to Nice

Just 40km from Nice, the Turini Camp d’Argent ski resort is particularly suitable for young children. At an altitude of up to 1920 metres, the resort is right in the heart of the local area! Turini Camp d’Argent is the ideal place for children to enjoy their first glides in the snow, and offers a wide range of activities and walks with a sea view.

Scheduled to open from 20 December 2025 to 29 March 2026 (depending on snow conditions).

Close to the Vallée des Merveilles, the road from the Col de Turini to the resort is known as one of the 10 most beautiful roads in the world. The highest point on the Col, at 1607 metres, gives the Turini Camp d’Argent resort an exceptional panoramic view of the Mediterranean!

With 15km of downhill ski runs, 12km of cross-country ski runs, a snowpark, a children’s playground, a toboggan run and a special run for toddlers! It’s the ideal resort for learning Nordic sports as a family! Turini Camp d’Argent caters for children of all ages, so you can enjoy skiing with the whole family.

  • Build your own sea-view igloo

What would you say to building an igloo with a sea view, in which you’ll spend an unforgettable evening? All you have to do is hike with snowshoes and build your very own igloo as a team! It’s a bivouac that’s sure to make a lasting impression.

  • Snooc

Discover a new form of skiing with your family, a mix of downhill skiing and sledging: the snooc! Ideal for all levels, sit on the seat and hurtle down the slopes, easily mastering the speed or executing skids worthy of a king of the slopes!

Distance: 4 km. Difference in altitude: 180 m.
Departure point: Car park at Camp d’Argent.

Stroll through the middle country of the Côte d’Azur among fir trees, larches and Scots pines… In fine weather, you may even catch a glimpse of Corsica on the horizon of the Grande Bleue, which will enhance every viewpoint along the way!

Level of difficulty: Medium. Duration: 2h30.
Distance: 8.9 km. Difference in altitude: 350 m.
Departure point: Arrival car park at Camp d’Argent.

Set off on an adventure through the northern landscapes of Turini Camp d’Argent. Along the way, you’ll discover the military fort of the Redoute de la Pointe des Trois Communes, where you’ll embrace a view of the peaks of the Mercantour National Park.
