The Nordic Area

Tempted to explore the largest Nordic ski area in the Alpes-Maritimes department? Come to Gréolières les Neiges and take advantage of the 30km of trails between 1400 and 1540m, winding through forests of majestic conifers. Take a break for a breathtaking view of the Mercantour on the upper slopes.

The “La Maison du Fondeur” restaurant will be offering you new features while retaining its warm, friendly atmosphere. The icing on the cake is an exceptional view of the slopes as you enjoy a typically Nordic meal!

The Nordic ski area also has an equipment rental service, so you’re sure to find what you’re looking for, with a wide range of classic and skating skis, snowshoes and sleds.

Distance: 2.5 km. Difference in altitude: 150 m.
Starting point: Gate 1

Take a forest trail accessible to all hikers. Surrounded by forest and clearings, take a breath of fresh air without any difficulty.

La Croix de Verse

Level of difficulty: Easy. Duration: 3h30.
Distance: 7 km. Elevation gain : 310 m.
Starting point: East end of the large parking lot at Gréolières les Neiges.

Leave your footprints on the La Croix de Verse wilderness trail to discover a 360° panorama of the Côte d’Azur coastline and the peaks of the Mercantour Massif.

Cime du Cheiron

Level: medium. Duration: 7 hours.
Distance: 8 km. Difference in altitude: 400 m.
Starting point: East end of the large parking lot at Gréolières les Neiges.

Experience the 1778-meter ascent to the highest point in the Parc naturel régional des Préalpes d’Azur. From the summit of Le Cheiron, admire a landscape of incomparable contrasts between sea and land!
