Starting point: Saint-Martin-d’Entraunes, Val Pelens resort (1600m).

The walk to the summit of the Aiguilles de Pelens is ideal for snowshoe hiking, offering an exceptional panoramic view of Val d’Entraunes while avoiding the difficult summits.

Difficulty level: Medium. Duration: 4 hr 30.

Distance: 8 km. Height difference: 530 m.

Starting point: At the start of the Col des Champs road (1580m).

The larch forests give way to the vast snowfields of the mountain pastures, creating a marked contrast with the imposing rocky peaks of the Pelens, Fréma and Dent de Lièvre ranges during this snowshoe hike.
