We tested parasailing on the Côte d’Azur!

Parasailing is an original and fun way to admire the beauty of the Côte d’Azur from the air! Towed by a boat, hanging from a gigantic parachute, all you have to do is let yourself be carried by the wind and enjoy the silence! Fly over the Mediterranean! I’ll take you to Sainte-Maxime to discover this original activity that gives you a breathtaking view of the Golfe de Saint-Tropez!

Parasailing: how does it work?

If you’re interested in a trip up in the Côte d’Azur skies, why not try parasailing?

This aerial adventure begins with a short boat ride. Once you’re away from the coast, it’s time for a briefing! Then go to the rear platform of the boat, where you are attached, alone or in twos, to a gigantic parachute by means of a comfortable harness. As the boat moves forward, the parachute gradually inflates: you feel yourself taking off smoothly, still sitting in the harness. Your hands and feet are free: remember to bring your camera to capture the moment!

Parasailing on the Côte d’Azur: an activity for everyone!

Adults and children, everyone will love parasailing. Have fun with changes in altitude: try to touch the water just with your toes, then fly away! Enjoy the landscape and the peace and quiet: isn’t the view of the Côte d’Azur incredible from up there? You don’t want to get wet? Depending on the location and weather conditions, you can even land right on the boat and you’re still dry! You must of course wear a lifejacket.

Enjoy the beauty of the Côte d’Azur landscapes from the air!

I went parasailing in Sainte-Maxime. What impressed me the most? The silence up there! Enjoy the tranquillity, keep your eyes peeled and admire the coastline. On one side, the Golfe de Saint-Tropez, a large turquoise bay with endless yachts. On the other side, Saint-Raphaël and Cap Dramont. You may see the Ile d’Or, from which Hergé drew inspiration for the setting of his Tintin album « The Black Island ». In the background, the Massif de l’Esterel, and its characteristic steep red rocks.

Living in Nice, I fell under the spell of the Côte d’Azur. This region has made me what I am today: a fulfilled sportsperson that loves and respects nature. I share the beauty of this area and its many sporting possibilities and show you the things that made me fall in love with it!
