When does the Tour de France Femmes pass through the Côte d’Azur?

The final two stages will take place on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 August 2026. The Sisteron–Nice stage finishes on Saturday, followed by the final stage, which forms a loop around Nice on Sunday.

Where is the final finish line?

The finish line is situated on the Promenade des Anglais, near the Théâtre de Verdure, in Nice.

Where can you watch the female runners go by?

You can watch the race from the designated public viewing areas along the route, including in the Var Valley, Nice, Èze and Villefranche-sur-Mer. Please always observe the safety measures in place.

Are the stages available free of charge?

Access to the roadside and the Fan Zone is free. However, some areas may be closed or reserved for the organisers.

How can I get around Nice during the event?

There will be significant restrictions affecting roads, car parks, cycle paths and certain tram routes. Please use public transport where possible and check the information provided by the City of Nice before travelling.

2026 Tour de France Femmes

The grand arrival on the Côte d’Azur

On 8 and 9 August 2026, the Tour de France Femmes with Zwift will reach its final highlights on the Côte d’Azur. Following a finish in Sisteron, Nice will host the final stage of the competition. Two decisive days set against the backdrop of the Var Valley, the hills of the Côte d’Azur and the Mediterranean Sea – to be followed from the roadside or from designated viewing areas.

The Tour de France is coming to the Côte d’Azur

On Saturday 8 August, the peloton will enter the Alpes-Maritimes via the Var valley. The riders will pass through Puget-Théniers, Touët-sur-Var, Villars-sur-Var, Malaussène, Saint-Martin-du-Var, Castagniers and Colomars before reaching Nice. This transitional stage will offer a varied route, taking in the hinterland, urban terrain and the coast.

The following day, the final stage will take place around Nice. Short but mountainous, it could still shake up the general classification. Spectators are expected along the entire route to cheer on the riders, whilst respecting the designated spectator areas and safety instructions.

After leaving Sisteron, the peloton will follow a 171.9-kilometre route to Nice. The ride will enter the Côte d’Azur via the Var valley, before a more urban finish. The final climbs may encourage attacks, but the sprinters’ teams will attempt to control the race before the finish on the Promenade des Anglais.

This final stage will take the form of a demanding circuit around Nice, Èze and Villefranche-sur-Mer. The riders will climb the Col d’Èze four times before a final passage over the Col des Quatre Chemins and the Vinaigrier. At just 99.2 kilometres, the race is expected to be fast-paced and attack-driven right up to the finish line on the Mediterranean coast.
