Grasse Perfume Week :

the world's leading perfume event

From 3 to 5 July 2025, Grasse was transformed into the capital of the senses for the very first Grasse Perfume Week. An invitation to discover perfume in a whole new way, in the heart of a legendary region where olfactory culture is second nature.

Grasse, an exceptional destination for a global event

Launching Perfume Week in Grasse means returning to the very essence of perfume. Where flowers are still picked at dawn, by hand, with the same delicacy as the work of a goldsmith. Where natural materials are sublimated with passion, and where innovation embraces tradition without ever betraying it. It’s impossible to imagine an event like this anywhere else but Grasse!

Here, fields of May roses rub shoulders with tuberoses, jasmine embraces the façades in the light-flooded alleyways, and expertise is passed down like a living treasure. You can’t just visit Grasse, you have to breathe it in and feel it. With this first edition, Grasse Perfume Week has established itself as an unprecedented sensory celebration – an invitation to experience perfume differently, as a pure emotion, an art in its own right, an inner journey.

Total immersion in the world of perfume

For 3 days, the whole city is in tune with the world of perfume. The historic city centre becomes an open-air stage, where artistic installations, concerts, screenings, meetings and workshops come together. The Palais des Congrès will host an exceptional trade fair bringing together nearly 50 local and international brands, immersive exhibitions, an olfactory bookshop, and a celebration of the unique know-how of the Grasse region, listed as an intangible heritage site by UNESCO.

As for the Villa Fragonard, an elegant late 17th-century country house surrounded by a magnificent garden housing a collection of works by the famous Grasse painter Jean-Honoré Fragonard, it will be taken over by the famous Grasse house Robertet. With its 175-year history, Robertet is a pillar in the world of perfume creation. At Grasse Perfume Week, perfume isn’t just something you breathe in: it’s something you talk about, share and experience all over the city!

Unique experiences and meetings with the masters of perfumery

At Grasse Campus, a centre of excellence dedicated to the perfume industry, visitors can attend Smell Talks. Between intimate round tables, inspiring lectures and revealing masterclasses, each exchange lifts the veil a little further on the mysteries of olfactory creation. The workshops allow you to immerse your nose in the rarest raw materials.

You’ll learn how to recognise a trail of scents, or how to compose your own fragrance. Above all, you can savour the moment when a fragrance revives a memory. The experience is total, intimate and memorable. Great perfumers, plant producers, researchers and young talents from the four corners of the world will come together to share their passion.

Two exhibitions to prolong the emotion

During Grasse Perfume Week, two original exhibitions invite visitors to explore perfume in a different way. Amouage transports us to Oman with “Wadi Dawkah, the incense valley”. The exhibition immerses visitors in the world of Boswellia sacra, the mythical tree whose resin has shaped the history of civilisations and perfumery. Here we discover the ancestral know-how surrounding incense and Amouage’s commitment to preserving this natural treasure.

A more intimate exhibition, “Quand le parfum des plantes parle”, designed by Marc-Antoine Corticchiato, takes visitors behind the scenes at Parfum d’empire. It’s a plunge into its most emblematic creations, where each fragrance is in dialogue with memories, emotions and perfume plants.

A city in celebration, an area in the spotlight

Grasse Perfume Week also takes place outside the city walls, at the Musée International de la Parfumerie (MIP). In the unique setting of the MIP Gardens, you can discover the centifolia roses, lavender and orange trees that have provided the precious raw materials for perfumery for centuries. Historic houses such as Fragonard, Galimard and Molinard invite you on unique tours. The shops, which offer a wide range of events, are the perfect sensory stopovers! Film screenings, olfactory performances and exclusive evening events round off this exhilarating programme.

In this festive atmosphere and dream setting, Grasse reaffirms its status as the world’s perfume capital. At the start of the summer, Grasse Perfume Week becomes the must-attend event for enthusiasts and the curious, who can (re)discover the soul of perfume and the richness of olfactory cultures from all over the world.
