Description
On stage, two women face each other: Cécile, in the present of the show, and Anne, who died a few years ago trying to save two children from drowning.
They share a deeply moving story of a man whose life is turned upside down one summer afternoon, when he saves a child who has fallen into the water. This suspended moment gives rise to a deep, indescribable turmoil that will haunt him for the rest of his life. How does the one who saves feel?
In this new creation, director Noëmie Ksicova takes a chapter from the book En cas d'amour (In Case of Love) by psychoanalyst and philosopher Anne Dufourmantelle and turns it into the material for a sensitive and dizzying piece of theater.
By bringing it to the stage, Noëmie Ksicova gives substance to her thought, attentive to the fragile and contradictory zones of the human soul, from our darkest impulses to our irrepressible desire for life.
With Vincent Dissez, Boutaïna El-Fekkak, Sébastien Éveno, Théo Oliveira Machado, Cécile Péricone, Marie Moly* [casting in progress].
