BABA HEX draws on the seminal images of surrealist cinema—Buñuel, Maya Deren—to cloak them in a new sonic guise, blending broken beat, cosmic jazz, and organic electro. Two languages, two eras, two ways of exploring dreams, desire, and freedom. On stage, the music extends the image, shifts it, and disrupts it. An immersive performance where the boundary between concert and cinema gradually blurs. A bold and unique musical experience.
