Busta Rhymes has been a fixture on the East Coast hip-hop scene since the mid-1990s.
Of Jamaican origin, he grew up in Brooklyn and then Long Island, where he began freestyling at the age of 17. Today, his flow is mastered, hyper-fast and doped with humor. Over the course of his career, he has collaborated with Public Enemy, The Notorious B.I.G., Janet Jackson, Mary J Blige, TLC, Jay-Z, Michael Jackson, Snoop Dog, The Fugees, Lenny Kravitz and Mariah Carey. Busta Rhymes released 11 albums between 1996 and 2023.
