Through this programme, the performers develop their stage experience with works of distinctive choreographic voices, including Dreamers, a new creation commissioned from Pontus Lidberg. With *Dreamers*, the Swedish choreographer Pontus Lidberg – the new director of the Nice Opera Ballet – revisits a piece originally conceived in Dresden, inspired by the mystical poetry of Rumi, the 13th-century Persian theologian born into a world as precarious and turbulent as our own.
