Description

Château des Garcinières has been an independent family vineyard since 1898. The estate's 17 hectares of vines have earned their pedigree thanks to years of organic farming.
The family’s motto reflects this: “Nature is our guide.” For three centuries, the lands of this former Cistercian monastery have been devoted to vineyards, much to the delight of the Valentin family, who have managed the estate since 1898. The avenue of three-hundred-year-old plane trees lining the road leading to the main house speaks volumes about the history of this place. At the end of this majestic avenue stands the Provençal bastide, a testament to centuries past. The Valentin family has managed the estate for five generations. This pride is evident in the family’s two sisters, Stéphanie and Karine, worthy representatives of Château des Garcinières, a true Provençal gem. Immersed in viticulture from their earliest childhood alongside their father, Louis Valentin, it was difficult for them to imagine any other life. Indeed, it is not merely a profession, but truly a way of life. Modern winemaking techniques—such as nighttime harvesting, a new winery, and new winemaking equipment—enable the production of rosé, red, and white wines of exceptional finesse. The technology is there, but above all, the team strives to work with the utmost respect for nature. Here, the focus is on producing round, rich, and balanced wines, in line with the vision of Stéphanie and Karine, supported by Richard, the cellar master. Château des Garcinières welcomes you year-round and offers a variety of activities, including wine sales and tastings, special events, and reception hall rentals. Guided tours are available by reservation at 06.13.05.37.28 for groups of two or more.
