Violinist Clarissa Bevilacqua is known for enchanting audiences with her deeply inspiring musicality. Her playing has been described as “radiantly sublime” (Gramophone) and “with great elegance and lightness” (The Strad).
A winner of numerous international violin competitions, Clarissa took home First Prize, the Audience Prize, and the Bärenreiter Special Prize at the Salzburg International Mozart Competition. She also received the Grand Prize at the Cape Symphony International Violin Concerto Competition and Second Prize at the Monte-Carlo Music Masters.
Named “Revelation in Instrumental Solo Performance” at the 2024 Victoires de la Musique Classique, Élise Bertrand pursues a dual career as a violinist and composer, passionately championing lesser-known and contemporary repertoire, thereby blending performance and composition.
She has won numerous violin, chamber music, and composition competitions, including Second Prize at the Ginette Neveu International Competition and the Special Prize in 2019 for the best performance of a contemporary piece.
