Col de Tende tunnel

Pursuant to the decision of the Franco-Italian Intergovernmental Commission dated July 2, 2026, traffic through the Tende Tunnel (RD 6204 - Tende) will operate as follows starting Thursday, July 30, 2026 (6:00 a.m.): Traffic will flow in alternating directions controlled by traffic lights: ➢ From July 30, 2026, to September 13, 2026: Open from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Direction Italy → France: first passage at 6:00 a.m., last passage at 10:30 p.m.; Direction France → Italy: first crossing at 6:15 a.m., last crossing at 10:45 p.m. ➢ From September 14, 2026, to October 4, 2026 Monday through Friday (excluding Italian holidays): Open during designated time slots - 6:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. Direction Italy → France: first crossing at 6:00 a.m., last crossing at 7:30 a.m. Direction France → Italy: first crossing at 6:15 a.m., last crossing at 7:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Direction Italy → France: first crossing at 12:30 p.m., last crossing at 1:00 p.m. France → Italy: first crossing at 12:45 PM, last crossing at 1:15 PM. - 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM Italy → France: first crossing at 6:00 PM, last crossing at 8:30 PM. France → Italy direction: first crossing at 6:15 p.m., last crossing at 8:45 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays: Open continuously from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Italy → France: first crossing at 6:00 a.m., last crossing at 10:30 p.m. France → Italy: first crossing at 6:15 a.m., last crossing at 10:45 p.m.
