Description
Beautiful balcony route starting from the Col de la Moutière, among the marmots.
From the Col de la Moutière car park at 2,450 m, start at marker 61 and head right along the white and red marked trail (GR56) towards the Col de Colombart (marker 45). You'll cross high-altitude meadows and a small ridge before reaching the pass.
Then take the right-hand path leading to the Col de l'Alpe (marker 46). From the pass, head left to reach the Pointe de Colombart (2,641 m), the end of your hike.
This easy hike is in the heart of the National Park; dogs are prohibited.
