A charity concert and show by the ‘Gil Project’, organised by Rotary Cap d’Ail Portes de Monaco
The Rotary Club Cap d’Ail Portes de Monaco is continuing its work to promote women’s health and hygiene in Kenya by providing menstrual cups. To support this cause, come along to the ‘Gil Project’ concert, a tribute to Claude Nougaro! Claude Nougaro, the ‘little bull from Toulouse’, is one with his native Occitanie and the Garonne, his river, yet he has always been influenced by a multitude of styles, including American jazz and Brazilian music. With his band “Gil Project”, made up of jazz enthusiasts, singer Gilles Andrup will take you on a journey through some of the classics by the man nicknamed “the man with the swinging soles” and present a musical journey drawn from the 500 songs produced by Claude Nougaro. For this evening, Gil will be accompanied by Maureen Clerc on piano, Sylvia Corrado on accordion, Laurent Counillon on guitar, Salem Ourhani on double bass, and Wlodek Stankiewicz on drums. It is an honour for “Gil Project” to pay tribute to the composer, songwriter and singer-songwriter who will remain an eternal gem of French chanson and jazz. Welcome aboard the ‘Nougaro’! PARKING: On-site (subject to availability) at 5 Rue du Docteur Lyons, or nearby (Beaverbrook, Avenue du 3 Septembre). booking link : https://www.helloasso.com/associations/rotary-club-cap-d-ail-portes-de-monaco/evenements/concert-hommage-a-claude-nougaro
