The Hippodrome de la Côte d'Azur is one of France's leading racecourses, located between the sea and the mountains at Cagnes-sur-Mer. Inaugurated in 1952, it hosts two meetings each year, in winter and summer, during which numerous horse races are held.
At some race meetings, entertainment is offered to the public, and fireworks are organized during the summer meeting.
In addition to the races, the racecourse hosts numerous professional and public events throughout the year.
