Music that evokes nostalgia, dancing and celebration, exile or hope…

Nostalgic music, dance and celebration, exile and hope… While Michel Lethiec explores the entire classical and modern clarinet repertoire, he also harbors a genuine passion for traditionally inspired music, for which his instrument is often a preferred medium of expression. Alongside accordionist Sabine Péroumal-Giordano, he presents a colorful program blending original works with pieces inspired by the traditions and customs of Central Europe. Regarded as one of the leading figures in the international music world, Michel Lethiec is an honorary professor at the Paris National Conservatory of Music and a professor at the Nice Conservatory. Passionate about the classical and contemporary accordion repertoire, Sabine Péroumal-Giordano distinguished herself at a very early age by winning several first prizes, notably at the Prince Rainier III Academy in Monaco and the City of Paris, in 1998 and 1999. With eclectic tastes, she performs in a wide variety of ensembles, exploring classical, Gypsy, and Celtic music as well as tango.
