This exhibition presents a series of collages created between 2018 and 2026, which have never been exhibited before. These collages—assemblage pieces from a slightly off-kilter world—are playful and highly intuitive. I do not wish to intellectualize or analyze them; I will leave complete freedom of interpretation to the viewers. Influenced by the photomontages of Hannah Höch (1889–1978), a major figure in Dadaism, I explore improvisation, strange and ambiguous fantasy, distorted scales, and unexpected juxtapositions. “I love moving from one medium to another; the different practices—painting, ceramics, embroidery, and collages—feed off one another. I navigate through my creations; it’s invigorating. I explore different rhythms, depending on my moods and needs. “Embracing life through color” is always the guiding thread… To bring a little smile to this ‘crazy world that’s got under my skin,’ as a famous singer puts it.
