The restoration of dry stone walls is an important issue in maintaining the landscape in its traditional state. These workshops are carried out by a professional mason.
For the 7th consecutive year, the French Riviera Community (CARF) is organizing training sessions dedicated to the restoration of dry-stone walls.

Iconic features of our landscapes, the dry-stone walls that form the terraces are modest structures. Nevertheless, they embody an ancestral construction technique that uses no binder or mortar. They combine both landscape and environmental knowledge.

Their construction is a craft that the French Riviera Community wishes to protect and pass on.
